New for 2023, a new chair for a new era. The first complete re-design of the Ergohuman Chair in over 10 years.
Why update the Ergohuman Chair design?
The existing range, often known as the Ergohuman V2, was launched in 2010. It has proven to be a durable and good value ergonomic chair selling in over 50 countries around the world. Ergonomic thinking and technology has moved forward and Ergohuman decided it was time for an evolutionary step forward. This has resulted in the Generation 2 Ergohuman chair, a complete overhaul of the Ergohuman Chair design.
Ergohuman 2 Manufacturing technology
In the past the Ergohuman range was hand assembled on a traditional assembly line. To bring the fit and finish up to date, the Ergohuman 2 is now assembled on an automated assembly line. This has resulted in a more refined product that is lighter and stronger.
Available options
At launch the Ergohuman 2 is available in the Elite Black Mesh, Luxury Black Mesh and the Luxury Platinum Mesh. There are no Leather or Leather/Mesh combos, or leg-rest versions, available at this stage and these models remain available in the existing range.
What is new?
The existing Ergohuman Chair has a market leading range of adjustability and ergonomic functions. The Ergohuman 2 has added a number of ergonomic functions to make it even more versatile. The Lumbar Support is now adjustable for firmness and there are additional locking points on the backrest height. The armrests are now 5 way with the addition of forearm support for using a mobile device. This enables the front of the armrest to tilt upward to support your forearm while holding a phone or tablet. The Luxury now has electrically operated functions for seat height and backrest tilt memory lock, operated from buttons on the left hand armrest. The new Mesh is an improved 5th generation product with improved durability and hand feel.
